Mirror, mixed media, rice paper and acid-free and lignin-free cardstock paper

My intention for this piece is that anyone who looks into these eyes sees a reflection of their true self looking back. Every person wants to be seen and know that they matter. To be truly seen, you need to reflect on yourself and love yourself.
These eyes are meant to fully see and validate everything that makes you who you are and all you’ve experienced. They witness your uniqueness, your journey, your pain, and your triumphs. I imagine these eyes as sacred mirrors, capturing a trace of every soul who gazes into them.
Each person leaves behind a small essence of themselves (an imprint of presence, vulnerability, and truth). Over time, as more people look into these eyes, that collective grows. The eyes become a vessel of collective compassion, holding space for all who have come before and offering silent support to all who come after.
Sacred energies infused in the work: Love, Joy, Wonder, Kindness, Compassion, Gratitude and Peace
